The New York Giants are working out Wes Welker and Hakeem Nicks.

The Giants are thin at wide receiver as Victor Cruz works his way back from injury.

Welker was most recently with the Denver Broncos.

Terrelle Pryor will work out for the Seattle Seahawks this week as a wide receiver.

Pryor was released before the start of the season by the Cleveland Browns and has also had workouts with the New England Patriots and New York Jets.

Pryor was previously with the Seattle Seahawks as a backup quarterback.

Terrell Owens had his agent reach out to the Dallas Cowboys about returning to the NFL following the injury to Dez Bryant.

Owens is 41 and hasn't played in the NFL since the 2012 preseason.

“I’m not sure what the situation is,” Owens said. “My name may have come up in discussion as far as bringing me in. But again, a lot of people are going to factor in my age as far as why I can’t play.”

Owens said he feels he’d be a “viable” option for the team given a week or so to round into form.

Randy Moss is remaining retired as he hasn't received any interest from teams in need of a wide receiver and he hasn't solicited interest either.

Moss is believed to only have interest in returning to the NFL to play with Peyton Manning or Tom Brady, but he has no interest in playing just to play. Moss has publicly mused about a possible return.

Moss has an emerging career in broadcasting.

Terrelle Pryor will work out next week for the New York Jets at wide receiver.

Pryor worked out this week for the New England Patriots after he was cut by the Cleveland Browns.

Pryor was drafted by the Oakland Raiders at quarterback.

The Dallas Cowboys will work out several wide receivers with Dez Bryant out at least one month.

Hakeem Nicks, Nick Toon, Clyde Gates and Austin Pettis will visit with the Cowboys.

Nicks was with the Indianapolis Colts last season and his speed has decreased in recent seasons.

The Saints have just Marques Colston, Brandin Cooks, Willie Snead and Brandon Coleman at wide receiver.

The Buffalo Bills have re-signed Matt Cassel three days following his release.

Cassel presumably took a pay cut after he lost the starting quarterback job to Tyrod Taylor.

Cassel will be the Bills' backup quarterback behind Taylor and ahead of EJ Manuel.
